OPPORTUNITY

Within Dephion's skilled and distinctive workforce lies the 3D modeling department. Early in the department's setup, we promptly recognized the groundbreaking potential of the material being generated. It became evident that this potential could essentially evolve into a standalone company. I was assigned the responsibility of establishing the TALOS brand, overseeing everything from strategy and vision to the comprehensive development of all communications.

INSIGHT

TALOS embodies the essence of a lifelike digital human, seamlessly engaging in real-time interactions on your device, while placing a paramount emphasis on empathy. Beyond being a mere digital presence, TALOS assumes various roles, acting as your dedicated communicator, efficient assistant, knowledgeable advisor to both your workforce and clients, and even as a supportive mentor or professor. The versatility of TALOS opens up a boundless array of possibilities, ensuring a dynamic and personalized experience for users who forge connections with this innovative and empathetic digital companion.

IDEA

We established very early on in the process the key message that we needed to convey: 'Forging real connections through convincingly human responses.' Having unearthed the brand's strategy and vision, we then moved forward to elaborate on the positioning and, ultimately, the fundamental essence of TALOS itself. The new brand required a unique identity that would distinguish it and be easily recognizable across all channels and touchpoints.

Following an initial exploration of paths related to both 'speech' and 'Greek mythology' (given that the TALOS name was derived from Talos, the giant bronze man crafted by Hephaestus, the Greek god of invention and blacksmithing), we opted to abandon these directions and instead pursue the theme of Alchemy. We crafted the branding by leveraging the name itself, constructing a distinctly unique alchemic shape that served as its visual representation.
